Australian shares rise

On Wednesday, Australian shares added after the close, as revenues in the Gold, Energy as well as Utilities sectors brought stocks up.

The S&P/ASX 200 grew 0.03%.

The best performers of the trading session were Ozforex Grp, Orocobre Ltd and Beach Energy Ltd. They rose 7.81%, 7.51% and 6.49% respectively.     

As for the worst performers they were represented by Aconex Ltd, M Pharma Fp and Retail Food Group Ltd. They lost 5.17%,4.86% and 4.68%.     

On the Australia Stock Exchange, ascending shares outclassed dipping ones by 554 to 481, while 300 remained intact.

Stocks in Beach Energy Ltd added to 52-week peaks, surging 6.49%, getting to 0.820.

The S&P/ASX 200 VIX, traditionally evaluating the implied volatility of S&P/ASX 200 options, sank 5.22%, trading at 14.280.

The currency pair AUD/USD sagged 0.21%, trading at 0.7544. At the same time, AUD/JPY dipped 0.32%, being worth 82.28.

The US Dollar Index headed south 0.18%, demonstrating the value of 100.02.
