Taiwan stocks go down at close of trade

On Friday, Taiwan stocks tumbled after the close, as losses in the Electricity, Gas, Oil as well as other sectors brought shares down.

In Taiwan, the Taiwan Weighted sagged 0.97% at the close. 

The best performers of the trading session on the Taiwan Weighted included Ya Horng with its 10.00% rise at 36.30, G.M.I with its 9.87% revenue at 7.68 as well as Chien Shing Ss, soaring 9.68% at 2.380 during late trade.

As for the worst performers, they are Calin, dropping 9.34% to 21.85, Sunrace sinking 8.62%  to 15.90 and Super Dragon, edging down 8.31%, being worth 18.20.

Sagging stocks outperformed soaring ones on the Taiwan Stock Exchange by about 573 to 206, while 76 ended intact.

Meanwhile, stocks in Ya Horng ascended to 3-years peaks, earning 10% at 36.30. Stocks in G.M.I grew to 52-week peaks, acquiring up to 9.87% at 7.68.

The currency pair USD/TWD rose 0.65%, trading at 31.641, while TWD/CNY stood still at 0.2113.

The US Dollar Index gained 0.18%, being worth 94.28.
