USD longs down for a 2nd week
According to the latest COT (Commitments of Traders) report, released on June 27 for a week ended June 24, net USD longs fell from $12.19 billion on June 17 to $11.34 billion on June 24. Net USD longs have been contracting for a second consecutive week in a row. However, net USD positions hold in a positive territory for a 7th consecutive week.
Net short EUR positions slightly declined following six straight weeks of growth.
Net long GBP positions fell slightly after hitting an annual high last week.
Net AUD positions came to their highest level since April 2013.
Net CHF positions turned back to an overall bearish position.
Net short JPY positions edged higher.
Net short CAD fell to their lowest level since October 2013.
